University of Wisconsin swimmers Amelia Sarnecki and Andrew Ackley laughed when they heard Oahu's recent weather is considered chilly. Why, back in the Badger State, January can get downright frigid. This, said Sarnecki from his perch atop Diamond Head, is "laying out" weather. The swimmers and their team mates, in training here until Jan. 17, hiked up the crater yesterday. The National Weather Service said cool north winds of up to 25 mph would continue through tomorrow. The high temperatures going into the weekend are expected to be in the mid-70s with the lows in the mid-60s.
