Christian Tse returns
for trunk show

Star-Bulletin

After stunning Honolulu jewelry aficionados in July with his "Sunburst" and "Great Jellyfish" platinum necklaces and telephone cord-inspired "Fusilli" necklace in platinum and precious stones, Christian Tse returns for a trunk show at Neiman Marcus from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow through Sunday in the Precious Jewels Salon.

Christian Tse's 18K gold lariat necklace was worn by Kim Cattrall on an episode of "Sex in the City." Pieces at the designer's Neiman Marcus trunk show will range in price from $1,500 to $120,000.

Tse, who is known for luxurious, textured pieces dubbed "lingerie for the neck," continues his creative streak, with new pieces that include a platinum "Confetti" necklace inspired by New Year celebrations, and an 18K gold lariat introduced to TV audiences when Kim Cattrall wore it on an episode of HBO's "Sex in the City."

As elegant as the jewelry appears, Tse also designs his pieces to be worn, rather than stuffed in a jewelry box, so they are equally comfortable and versatile.

Those who visit the trunk show will find earrings that don't pinch, and necklaces that can be wrapped, twisted or tied to suit wearers' personalities.

The designer's work has captured the attention of Hollywood's stylists, and have shown up on celebrities like Penelope Cruz, "The Sopranos" Edie Falco, and most recently, Jennifer Lopez.

Pay close attention to her earlobes when J.Lo's film "Jersey Girl" debuts this summer. The diamonds are Tse's.
