A television helicopter news crew moved in for a closer look at lava from Kilauea volcano entering the Pacific Ocean yesterday on the 20th anniversary of the current eruption at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island. In recognition of the event, the park and the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory will host a free open house today. Several thousand people are expected to attend.
