>> Jessica Akamine, Maryknoll softball: Went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and a solo home run in the Spartans' 8-0 win over La Pietra.

>> Shosei Yamauchi, Kahuku: Scored 20 points in the Red Raiders' 54-49 win over Kapolei in a preseason game.
>> St. Joseph Cardinal Classic All-Tournament team: Eryk Thomas (American), Levi Bartholomew (Waiakea), Gene Rivera (Maui), Abdullah Bayanzai (American), Tyler Nishimura (Waiakea). Most Valuable Player -- Maafu Finau (Maui).

FOOTBALL

>> Bobby George, St. Louis: Completed 8 of 9 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns to lead the East All-Stars to a 28-7 win over the West in the Hawaii Union Builders Goodwill Football Classic.
>> Shane Butcher, St. Louis: Caught touchdown passes of 57 yards and another for 83 yards for the East in the HUB Classic.
>> Ikaika Asinsin, Nanakuli: Rushed for 40 yards and threw a touchdown pass for the West and was named the team's most valuable offensive player.
>> Vili Fonokalafi, Kailua: Was named the defensive player of the game for the East squad.
>> Nikolas Soo, Kamehameha: Was named the defensive player of the game for the West.
>> Clint Blackman, Mililani: Intercepted two passes for the West defense.

BOYS SOCCER

>> Kaui Wong, Kamehameha: Scored three goals to lead the Warriors to an 11-0 win over Damien.

GIRLS SOCCER

>> Krisha Kai, Kahuku: Scored two goals to lift the Red Raiders to a 2-1 win over Kaiser.
>> Tina Garcia, Kalaheo: Scored three times as the Mustangs defeated Kaimuki 10-0.
>> Kimberly Unten, Pearl City: Scored five goals in the Chargers' 10-0 win over Waianae
>> Ashley Yoshizu and Richelle Umbay, Waialua: Combined for five goals in the Bulldogs' 6-0 win over Campbell. Yoshizu scored three goals while Umbay had two.

SOFTBALL

>> Kate Robinson, Kamehameha: Pitched a two-hitter and tripled in the Warriors' 6-1 win over Hawaii Baptist/St. Andrew's/St. Francis.
>> Laua'e Chang, Kamehameha: Went 3-for-3 with an RBI in the Warriors' 6-1 win over University.
>> Sarah Weisskopf, Punahou: Tossed twin shutouts as the Buffanblu defeated University 6-0 and Iolani 1-0.

SWIMMING

>> Hong Zhe Sun, Iolani: Took first place in four boys events at the Punahou Invitational. He won the 100-yard freestyle and 200-individual medley and swam on Iolani's winning 400-freestyle and 200-medley relay teams.
>> Kamaile Crowell, Punahou: Won the girls 100- and 200-freestyle at the Punahou Invitational.
