Walk through a wonderland of color, light, sound and architectural form with a trip through the Kraft Luminarium, a monumental PVC labyrinth that will be open on the grounds of Bishop Museum tomorrow through Jan. 5. Created by the UK-based Architects of Air, the Luminarium is being brought to Hawaii for the first time by Tim Bostock Productions as a walk-through cathedral of wondrous columns and bright passageways that allow visitors of all ages to sit down or lie inside the pods to immerse themselves in color.

The tunnels are built -- covering 12,000 square feet and 30 feet high -- to give adults plenty of headroom. It is also built to be accessible to anyone, including the elderly and those in wheelchairs.
