Quinn Kelsey sang yesterday during a rehearsal of Handel's "Messiah" at Central Union Church. Kelsey graduated from University of Hawaii Laboratory School in 1996 and went to UH, and he will be the bass singer for the Chicago Lyric Opera this spring. He and three other soloists -- Catherine Goto, Leigh Ann Braley and Kalani Brady -- will perform "Messiah" at a free concert at the church tonight at 7:30. They will be performing under the direction of Central Union Church music minister Noel Lovelace, with the Handel Festival Chamber Orchestra and the Central Union Church Oratorio Choir.
