Raw wrestlers come
back for Jan. 2 show

IT'S OFFICIAL: Superstars from World Wrestling Entertainment's Raw brand will return to the Blaisdell Arena for a single show early next year. Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Blaisdell Box Office and Ticket Plus outlets for the Jan. 2 show.

Some of the wrestlers scheduled to appear from Raw are Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Booker T, Kane and Bubba Ray Dudley. The lovely Stacy Keibler should be here as well. Ticket prices range from $25 to $90, the same prices charged when the WWE was in town a few months back ...

TICKETS ALSO go on sale Saturday for a Dec. 21 all-ages show at Pipeline Cafe by hardcore rockers Hatebreed. The 7-year-old Connecticut-based group arrives in Honolulu after playing shows in Australia, New Zealand and Japan in support of their latest album, "Perseverance."

Hatebreed has spent much of the past few years on the road, touring with the likes of Disturbed, Kid Rock, Linkin Park, Sepultura, Slipknot and others. Tickets are $15 for the concert, and will be available at Tower Records Kahala and Pearl Kai, Cheapo Music University and Pearl Kai, and all Foodland stores. Call 526-4400 to order by phone ...

BUT DON'T WAIT until next month to drop in at Pipeline -- tonight sees a return of the '70s and '80s with "Thursday Night Fever," and tomorrow, radio station 102.7 Da Bomb will celebrate its second birthday at the nightclub.

Kicking off at 8 p.m., "Thursday Night Fever" will feature disco dance and "best outfit" contests, along with performances by Eight-0-Eight and The Reformers. Cover for this 21-and-over party is $7; call 479-6004 for more info.

Doors open at 9 p.m. tomorrow night for "Bomb Birthday 2k2," an 18-and-over party that will be broadcast live on the radio from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Televisions, DVD players, Microsoft X-Boxes and other prizes will be given away every 15 minutes, and a $5,000 cash drop will take place at midnight. DJ E-Man from Power 106 FM in Los Angeles will also jump on the decks for a bit during the evening. Don't sleep on this one; it's going to get packed real early at the Pipe ...

AND ON SATURDAY, head into Waikiki for the Wave's 22nd birthday party. Doors open at 10 p.m. and Missing Dave will perform. DJs Byron the Fur, KSM and Racer X will throw down on wax, and there's supposed to be free sushi while it lasts. Call 941-0424 for details on this 21-and-over celebration ...
