City workers held tightly to one of two lines stabilizing the base of a 60-foot Norfolk pine tree yesterday as a crane began lifting it to a waiting flatbed truck. The tree, from the Makaunulau Community Park in Mililani, weighs 7.5 tons and will be installed tomorrow as the city's annual Christmas tree on the front lawn of Honolulu Hale.
