Kai honored by Buzz

Natasha Kai, the Hawaii Rainbow Wahine freshman striker, has been named to the Soccer Buzz National Team of the Week for her five-goal performance in last weekend's home matches.

This is the first time a Wahine played has been honored by Soccer Buzz.

Kai scored a hat trick in the 5-1 win over Boise State and had a pair of goals in the 5-0 victory over Nevada.

Earlier in the week the Kahuku graduate was named Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the third time she has been so cited this season.

Kai already has set UH season records for points (31), goals (14), shots (94) and has tied the single-season mark for game-winning goals (4).
