Get the look with makeup

[STYLE FILE]

If you need last-minute help with your Halloween make-up, you might power up that computer and head to www.maccosmetics.com for pointers.

Featured are looks in categories such as "Animal," "Clowns," "Femmes," "Masks" and "Monsters," that can be created using M.A.C cosmetics.

Most of the looks start with a Cream Colour Base ($16) that offers dense, saturated color that work for divas or ghosts, on both face and body.

The Pierrot look below starts with the base in white, with Boot Black liquid liner around the eyes.

A dusting of Pink Glow matte blush ($16) adds color to cheeks, and lips are finished in Russian Red lipgloss ($13).

The Spiderwoman look below starts with the base in white and red with Boot Black liquid liner ($15) to finish.

The plus of painting your face with makeup is that it's easy to remove with cold cream or other makeup remover. You won't suffocate in masks that don't fit right, and long after Halloween's over, you can use the colors in more sedate ways -- unless you like walking around looking like a clown or wild thing.
