Jane Charter, 83, of Honolulu, a retired retail store manager, died Oct. 19. She was born in Durango, Colo. She is survived by sons Corey and Dane Christopher and three grandchildren. Private scattering of ashes.

Loretta "Rita" Duterte, 70, of Hanamaulu, Kauai, a housekeeper, died Wednesday in St. Francis Hospital. She was born on Oahu. She is survived by sons Pedro Jr., Norman, Robert, Lorry and Alan; daughter Jerilyn Agor; brother Joseph Delostrico; sisters Sally Garcia, Yolanda Delostrico and Shirly Parraga; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mass: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church. Call after 9 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe. Casual attire.

Ernest Torres Feliciano, 77, of Honolulu, a retired heavy equipment operator for the state, died Oct. 7 in Honolulu. He was born on Maui. He is survived by daughters Leeanna Feliciano and Deborah Ann Daffron; stepson John Morris; brothers Manuel Feliciano and Anthony DeLouis; sisters Delores Morris, Beatrice Rodrigues, Eleanor Ozoa and Cecelia and Loretta Feliciano; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe, 45-349 Kamehameha Highway.

Charles "Charlie" Grandjean IV, 85, of Waipahu, a materials control agent for Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Sunnyvale, Calif., died Oct. 6. He was born in San Rafael, Calif. He is survived by daughters Suzanne Kramer and Nanette Sciulli, son C. Andrew, sister Dolly Beatrice Hughes and three grand children. Services: 5 p.m. tomorrow at Calvary Chapel West Oahu, 91-928 Fort Weaver Road.

Arthur Claude Johnson, 87, of Ewa Beach, a retired chief electrician at Barbers Point, died Wednesday in Ewa Beach. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Ronald, Alfred and Raymond; daughters Harriet Osumi-Snow, Bertha Ah Loy and April Bowlin; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Mass: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Call after 9:30 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.

James Kanuha Kamakani, 76, of Waipahu, a retired taxicab mechanic, died Oct. 18. He is also survived by daughter Gwen Gusman and numerous great-grandchildren. The mortuary provided incorrect information for an obituary published yesterday.

Richard Kiyoshi Miyashiro, 79, of Honolulu, a retired Honolulu Community College fire science coordinator and former Honolulu Fire Department assistant fire chief, died Wednesday in St. Francis Hospice Puiwa. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Helene, son Alton, daughter Carol Sugiyama and three grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Call after 5 p.m. Casual attire.
