record rushing

Jordon Dizon set a KIF record with 370 yards rushing and tied the record with five rushing scores as Waimea routed Kapaa 55-7.

Dizon, who got his yards on 24 carries -- for an incredible 15.4 average per carry -- shattered the old league record of 310 yards.

Dizon scored on runs of 32, 64, 2, 50 and 65 yards.

King Kekaulike 31, Maui 13: Na Alii defeated the Sabers for the first time in MIL history, giving King Kekaulike its first ever shot at winning the second round of the MIL.

King Kekaulike led 10-0 before Maui even touched the ball. After taking the opening kickoff, King Kekaulike drove 49 yards in nine plays, capped by Ikaika Mawae's 2-yard score.

On the ensuing kickoff King Kekaulike surprised the visiting Sabers with an onside kick, recovering at the Maui 49. They capped the recovery with a Jordan Iwada 26-yard field goal.
