Disguise your eyes! No matter what costume you're planning, contact lenses can complete your look for trick or treating, costume parties and generally freaking out all who cross your path.

WildEyes, a special-effect contact lens from Ciba Vision, allows one to morph into animal, alien or ghoul.

"The newest designs are Zebra and Blackout," said Amy Endo, of Endo and Associates. Lenses dubbed "White-out," "Cat Eye," "Wildfire" and "Red Hot" are among the most popular choices, she added.

Showing off team colors with an abundance of team spirit is another option, through X-color lenses. Combining white and green for University of Hawaii games, or try a festive combination for holidays, such as orange and black for Halloween, or red and green for Christmas. Other colors available are dark, light or royal blue, yellow, gray and purple.

Most of the styles for non-prescription lenses are in stock, she said. Prescription lenses required approximately one week to process.

The lenses can be used for up to a year. Endo recommends checking the lenses and changing the storing solution weekly to prevent bacteria buildup. Lenses must be removed daily and cleaned if worn daily.

The lenses cost $99 a pair. Call 487-5500 for more information.
