"Rebel With A Dream From Hawaii -- The Incredible Journey of Senator Richard M. Matsuura, An Autobiography"
This high-quality memoir will surprise those who recall Matsuura as a fearless and somewhat swashbuckling reformer in the Hawaii State Senate, because the last two decades of his life are covered here as a footnote. The bulk of the work is taken up with his conversion to Methodism and his missionary work in India through the 1960s, a country that had a great hold on his heart and imagination.

"Angel Lost, Angel Found"
Medeiros, a retired Honolulu deputy sheriff, is apparently a fan of those big sprawling multi-genrational romances in which the beautiful heroine overcomes waves of adversity to become rich and famous, only to lose it because of cruel fate. Well! It's all here!
