BUENOS AIRES, Argentina >> The United States beat China 3-0 as the second round of the World Volleyball Championships began yesterday.

The Americans won 25-23, 30-28, 25-19 in a Group K match to improve to 4-0. Also yesterday, reigning Olympic champion Yugoslavia defeated Greece 3-0.

Reid Priddy led the Americans with 13 points, including 11 kills.

The United States plays Greece today.
