William "Bill" Agustin Sr., 60, a supervisor for Kawaihae Concrete, former crane operator for the former Hamakua Sugar Co. and a former security guard for the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel, died Sept. 17. He was born in Paauilo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Elizabeth F.; sons Wayne "Sol'e" Hidaro and William "Billy" Jr. and Virgil Agustin; daughter Cheryl; brothers Abraham and Adam; sisters Mabel Pai, Florence Gacayan, Loretta Carpio, Berlinda Toson, Filomina Gacula and Estrella Nacnac; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Quentin Richard Avey, 83, of Keaau, Hawaii, a retired teacher in Micronesia, American Samoa, and Alaska and on Maui, died Sept. 16 in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Elma, Wash.
