Ticket deadline extended

University of Hawaii football season-ticket holders have an extra week to purchase tickets for the ConAgra Foods Hawaii Bowl before individual and conference tickets go on sale.

ESPN yesterday extended the offer through Sept. 28.

Season-ticket holders, when possible, can also upgrade their seat locations and purchase additional tickets.

The Hawaii Bowl pits the Western Athletic Conference against Conference USA in a nationally televised game Dec. 25. The Warriors are guaranteed participation if they finish this season with at least seven wins, according to ESPN officials.

Season-ticket holders may reserve their seats at the UH Ticket Office (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.) or by calling 944-BOWS.
