Dancers from Lifou Island in New Caledonia performed yesterday for 800 high school and intermediate students at Kahuku High School's gymnasium. The East-West Center brought in the group, Ziethel, for its first performance in the United States.

Sue Siofele poured water yesterday on flowers laid at her son John's grave at Eternal Love in Valley of Temples in Kaneohe. John, 18, a graduate of St. Louis School and a football player, was ready to go to the University of Hawaii with a scholarship when he was killed last July in a car accident, Siofele said.
