What is the most pressing issue facing your district and what would you do about it?

Education. Students are being allowed to attend high school with a fourth-grade reading level. This is not acceptable. All high school graduates should leave their respective schools with (at least) 12th-grade skills. Vocational education programs should be expanded at the high school level. Local school boards should be established ...

What is the best way to stimulate the state's economy?

Diversification in such areas as agriculture, health research, and high technology would be the best way to stimulate our economy. However, we would continue to support present industries so they would be able to improve in their areas of expertise.
