North Shore plant sale

Many varieties of Ko will be offered at the 23rd annual North Shore Outdoor Circle plant sale at Waimea Arboretum in Waimea Falls Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 14. Other plants that will be featured include many varieties of Hawaiian sweet potato ('uala), the chocolate plant, and many other ornamentals. All proceeds will go to the Waimea Aboretum. This is a great way to support a well-deserving organization. You can also tour its award-winning botanical garden that hosts a number of rare Native Hawaiian plants.
