Nailing color

Deborah Lippmann will be launching the Lippman Collection, her elegant line of nail color and treatment products at Neiman Marcus Ala Moana at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday.

The collection consists of 34 colors named after jazz songs, and inspired by Lippmann's passion for music.

All of the nail colors contain vitamin B to strengthen nails. A lacquer remover dubbed "The Stripper" contains aloe and lavender essential oil and features a twist lock pump activator for convenient, no-spill, on-the-go usage.

The classes will be a hands-on experience where Deborah will be giving a step-by-step lesson on nail treatment and color application. She will also discuss nail trends and advice on what to look for at a professional nail salon.

Lippmann began her career while singing on Broadway. She worked as a manicurist during the day to support her jazz singing at night. Soon, however, her day career had her traveling extensively to heed the requests of her celebrity clientele which includes such stars as supermodel Giselle, Cher, Martha Stewart, Sarah Jessica Parker, and many more.

Lippmann has also created nail looks for Versace and Calvin Klein, and her work has appeared on the covers of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle and Vanity Fair.

Calling 948-7332 for reservations.
