Students from the Euro American Technology Institute interested in completing their bachelor's degrees at Hawaii Pacific University will have a smooth transition because of an agreement between the two universities.

EAI Tech is located at Sophia-Antipolis near Nice, an area in southern France referred to as the European Silicon Valley.

HPU currently has 13 students from EAI Tech.

Seven will earn their degrees in the HPU School of Natural Science, and the others will be in the travel industry management, computer information systems and advertising programs.

"We'll be excited to see in increase in the French students on campus -- a direct result of the collegial relationship we've recently established with EAI Tech," said Rikki Mitsunaga, associate director for international admissions at HPU.
