The following is a preview of movies opening this week:

Opens Thursday: "Austin Powers in Goldmember" -- Mike Myers is back as that randy, swingin' '60s spy, with his nemesis Dr. Evil, the Scot Fat Bastard and supervillain Goldmember. Dr. Evil and his diminutive alter ego Mini-Me (Verne Troyer) break out of prison and hatch a time-traveling scheme to take over the world. But it involves kidnapping Powers' secret-agent dad Nigel Powers (Michael Caine). As Austin chases the bad guys through time, he joins forces with his '70s flame, undercover spy Foxxy Cleopatra (Beyoncé Knowles). (PG-13)

Opens Friday: "The Country Bears" -- In this sendup on aging music legends, the 1970s bear band from the Disney World Jamboree attraction, torn apart by old grudges and artistic differences, is reunited by a cub who befriends them. Christopher Walken and Haley Joel Osment are the lead bear voices, with cameos by Elton John, Don Henley and Willie Nelson. (G)
