VETS' TRIBUTE

DEAN SENSUI / DSENSUI@STARBULLETIN.COM Eichi Oki and George Yoshino, representing the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, laid a wreath yesterday at the base of the Brothers In Arms memorial at Ft. Derussy. It was in honor of the 60th anniversary of the 100th Battalion.

BOTTLES GALORE

FL MORRIS / FMORRIS@STARBULLETIN.COM The Hawaii Historical Bottle Collectors Club sponsored the 30th Annual Bottle Show yesterday at the McKinley High School cafeteria. Russell Komori, a hobbyist, picked up one of his bottles on display to sell during the show. The show continues today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

PARADE CELEBRATES GAY PRIDE

FL MORRIS / FMORRIS@STARBULLETIN.COM The Gay Pride Parade yesterday started at Ala Moana Park, made its way down Kalakaua Avenue and ended at Kapiolani Park. The parade was part of a three-day series of events that began Thursday and ended yesterday. Austin Meisel took part in the march through Waikiki yesterday.
