Crews work to clear out ponding water after a water main broke at School Street and Pali Highway this morning.




Broken water main
ties up traffic


A broken 12-inch water main at the corner of School Street and Pali Highway this morning sent water cascading down to the H-1 Freeway and slowed traffic.

The break was reported to the Honolulu Board of Water Supply at 6:15 a.m., and water had flooded the intersection and ran down to the the freeway.
