Benjamin P. Aki, 70, of Waimea, Hawaii, a retired groundskeeper for the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, died Wednesday in North Hawaii Community Hospital. Incorrect information was printed in an obituary published yesterday.

John William "Bill" Ayala, 74, of Hilo, a retired welding shop supervisor for the former Hilo Iron Works, former Industrial Steel and former Puna Sugar Co., died last Saturday in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Papaikou, Hawaii. He is survived by son Byron, daughter Deneen Thompson, brother James "Chu," sisters Caroline Belaski and Agnes Mercado, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Victor Harold Fergerstrom Sr., 76, of Hilo, a retired heavy equipment operator, died last Saturday in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Naalehu, Hawaii. Elsie Yoshiko Hara, 79, of Aiea, a retired employee of Dole Pineapple Co., died Sunday. She was born in Captain Cook, Hawaii. Herbert Young Chan Ho, 74, of Pearl City, a U.S. Air Force veteran, died last Saturday. He was born in Canton, China. He is survived by son Lester, daughter Letitia and brother Young Tow Ho. Mildred Jopling of Kapaa, Kauai, a bookkeeper with Edison Community College, died Monday in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She is also survived by husband Homer. Additional information was provided by the mortuary for an obituary published Wednesday.

Kam Man Leong, 86, of Honolulu, a retired administrator for the City and County of Honolulu, died June 1. He was born in Honolulu.
