Kamehameha fashion
alumni stage show

Kamehameha Schools hosts its annual Alumni Fashion Show, "All in the Ohana 2002," on its middle school campus tomorrow.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Kalama Dining Hall and will feature:

>> Class of '59 grad Nake'u Awai, with updates of elegant designs from the past.

>> Ka Pa La Ahu's Wayne Piena ('71) and wife Iwa ('80), with T-shirt knits and pareas featuring tapa designs.

>> Manuheali 'i's Danene and Pono Lunn ('79), whose signature rayon prints and easy island apparel are perfect for summer days.

>> Tali's Polynesia's Tali Letuli-Goeas (who's not revealing her age), with pareo inspired by travels abroad.

>> Puamana Crabbe ('74), who will show one of a kind creations in Hawaiian and vintage printed fabric.

>> Kanani Oliveira ('97), the most recent fashion graduate, who incorporates elements of her other love, hula, in her work.

There will also be some surprise guest models and entertainment by Class of '72, with Al Ka'ai and Friends.

Tickets to the event are $15, available by calling Crabbe at 949-5150.
