GIMME SOME LIP

art
FL MORRIS / FMORRIS@STARBULLETIN.COM
A surfer banked off the lip of a wave off Kakaako Park yesterday. The huge swell forecasted had not arrived, although waves yesterday afternoon were a little bigger -- 2 to 4 feet -- than in the morning and more consistent. Conditions were perfect, with very light trades blowing. Surf along the south shore today is expected to rise 8 to 12 feet with a few higher sets.
