Designer days at Macy's

Anne Namba's Spring 2002 collection will be shown free tomorrow and Saturday at Macy's Ala Moana.

Look for her Asia-inspired designs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. during an informal modeling session tomorrow in the third floor Bridge Department. There'll be a noon to 1 p.m. fashion show followed by informal modeling from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in the same department.

Out of the trunk

Check out the latest from Tod's suring the Summer 2002 trunk show continuing at Neiman Marcus through Sunday during store hours.

Rare handbags and shoes will be on view in the Level One Handbags and Ladies Shoes departments.

In the Handbag department, also stop and take a look at Judith Leiber's glittering handbag creations, hand painted and set with Swarovski crystals, making them sought after by Hollywood celebrities and First Ladies. The trunk show runs through May 13 during store hours.

Treat Mom to tea in celebration of her special day at these fashionable benefit events:

Sheraton Moana Surfrider: Fine jewelry from Tiffany's will be modeled at "Tea for Tutu," a Mother's Day warm-up event, 1 to 4:30 p.m. May 10. Cost is $25, which includes tea, finger sandwiches and scones. Proceeds benefit the Waikiki Community Center. The Moana will celebrate Mother's Day through the weekend with a Mother-Daughter Afternoon Tea May 11, special dinners on May 11 and on Mother's Day, May 12, and buffets for brunch, lunch and dinner on the 12th. Hilton Hawaiian Village: Fashion Consignment will share tips for locating fine clothing at affordable prices, plus how to dress to suit your body type, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mother's Day, May 12. Silent auction included. Cost is $35, which includes tea, pastries and eggs benedict. Proceeds benefit New Hope Christian Fellowship's Marriages in Hawaii outreach program. Call 488-8110.
