Team McGregor played against Waimanalo Green yesterday on the opening day of the season at the Honolulu Polo Club of Waimanalo. Santiago Uriburu watched Ron Bonaguidi run his new polo pony, Whippet, during a break in the game. Yesterday's event was held in honor of Bob McGregor, co-founder of the club, who died on April 14.

Fifteen-month-old Azarell Colbert and hanai aunt DJ Colbert wore their best hats to the field. "I absolutely love polo," DJ Colbert said. "This is my time of year because it gives me an excuse to buy all the hats in Honolulu."
