Kamaile Kaaua enjoyed her close encounter yesterday with the Easter Bunny at Ala Moana Center. The 6-month-old baby was among the many children who descended on the Centerstage area to cuddle with the furry creature in observance of Easter.

Remer Williams, left, Lyn Evans, Polotu Fakafanua and Lovey Palepale-Papalii showed the Tongan-style roasted pig they helped prepare for a cook-off held yesterday at the Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies at Fort DeRussy. The cook-off participants are in Hawaii for 12 weeks to attend an executive course at the Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies. These participants represent the diplomatic and military communities of their countries.

Ted Miyamoto, a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, looked over the "Through The One Hundred Twenty Thousand Tassel Tapestry" on display Friday at City Hall. The tapestry honors the efforts of the members of the 100th Battalion/442nd Regimental Combat Team.
