Marcouiller’s RBI single
subdues Maryknoll

Iolani rallied for six runs in the final two innings to edge Maryknoll 7-6 in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball game yesterday at Ala Wai Field.

Jay Marcouiller's single to score Bobby Webster in the top of the seventh inning proved to be the game-winner as the Raiders overcame a 6-1 deficit to defeat the Spartans.

After Iolani took a 1-0 lead in the second inning, Maryknoll exploded for six runs on five hits in the bottom of the fourth.

Mid-Pacific 16, Damien 3: The Owls pounded Monarch pitching for 12 runs in the third inning in a game shortened to five innings due to the 10-run rule.

Matt Inouye and Keven Whalen both hit home runs for Mid-Pacific. Daniel Chamizo launched a solo homer for Damien.

Pac-Five took a 4-0 lead early in the game, but Keoni Ruth hit a grand slam in the second inning to highlight Kamehameha's seven-run outburst.
