The Leilehua girls basketball team overcame a hot shooting performance by Radford's Missy Cordero to win its Oahu Interscholastic Association Western Division opener last night 47-43 in overtime.

Cordero hit six 3-point shots and finished with 20 points to lead Radford. But Leilehua's Liz Neishell hit 3 of 4 free throws in overtime to lift the Mules.

Pikake Nutter-Gaudet led Leilehua with 13 points.

Aiea 40, Mililani 23: Noelani Colburn scored 11 of her 12 points in the second half as Na Alii heated up after halftime to rout the Trojans.
The teams went into intermission with Aiea leading 7-5. Na Alii outscored Mililani 14-2 in the third period to take control.
