Takumi "Hoxie" Hamamoto, 84, of Hilo, a retired employee for the Department of Water Supply, Hilo, died last Wednesday in Hilo Medical Center. He was also a veteran of World War II serving in the Military Intelligence Service. He is survived by wife Sadami; sons Jerry and Robert; daughters Ann S.
