Punahou students, from left, Gracie Thacker, Brooke Hunter and Keely Schneider took off on the Cliff Hanger yesterday on the first afternoon of the school's annual fund-raiser. Celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, the carnival is open again from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. today. This year's theme is "Caribbean Cruisin'."

One Fas Lube by Salt Lake Costco hosted Central Middle School students yesterday for Junior Achievement's Groundhog Job Shadow Day. Student Clarence Cardenas, left, was shown how to check the tire pressure by One Fas Lube employee Gorden Caspino. The students were all given One Fas Lube work clothes to wear.
