USS O'KANE RETURNS FROM MAIDEN VOYAGE

The Aegis guided missile destroyer USS O'Kane completed its maiden voyage today, which included supporting America's fight in Afghanistan. The 330 sailors on the ship, which left Pearl Harbor on Aug. 1, got a warm welcome home today.




AQUARIUM GETS NEW RESIDENT

The Waikiki Aquarium welcomed the weedy sea dragon, or Phyllopteryx taeniolatus, yesterday. It is found only in the cold waters of Southern Australia and Tasmania, usually in depths of 10 to 165 feet, where it hovers and sucks minute crustaceans from seaweed surfaces and the surrounding water.
