Pauline Burns Adler, 91, of Honolulu, who died Friday, will be remembered in services at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Star of the Sea Church. Additional information was provided by the mortuary for an obituary published yesterday.

Gladys Katherine Akima-Padeken, 83, of Kahaluu, a retired Hawaii State Hospital nurse, died Tuesday. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by brothers Wallace, Bernie and John Lam-Ho; sisters Honey Kailio, Ruth Santos, Inga Halas and Lei Lagapa; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Call after 8 a.m. Burial to follow. Casual attire.

Manuel Mendoza Baysa, 70, of Ewa Beach, died Dec. 22 in St. Francis West Medical Center. He was born in Bacarra, Illocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by wife Evarista; children Rogelio, Alexander, Charles, Rosario, Samuel, Estela Whelan, Marilyn Bareng and Jean Daguio; father Zacarias; sisters Dionicia Ramones, Juliana Galapon, Esperanza Salinas and Felicidad Tumacder; and nine grandchildren. Pablo C. Cabanit, 84, of Wahiawa, died Jan. 2. He was born in the Philippines.
