Roosevelt deals Kailua
first loss of season

Bryson Borges scored 11 of his game-high 15 points in the second half as Roosevelt handed Kailua its first loss of the season, 50-35.

The Rough Riders led 24-13 at halftime and held the Surfriders off the rest of the way. Casey Gouveia scored 9 of his 13 points after halftime for the Rough Riders.

Castle 83, Kalani 43: Charles Texeira hit for 10 of his 12 points in the first half as Castle jumped out to a 23-point halftime lead and cruised to a rout of the Falcons.

William Harvest and Michael Proctor scored 14 points each for Knights, who had five players in double figures. Harvest hit four of Castle's six 3-point shots.
