Phyllis Alameida, 46, of Kamuela, Hawaii, a mail carrier and homemaker, died Friday at home. She was born in Honokaa, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Clarence W. Jr., sons Gregory Asino and Kehau, daughters Tanya Opamin and Keahi, mother Helen Texeira, brother Anthony Texeira, sister Kathy Texeira, and three grandchildren. Denise Marie Cadiz Beatty, 41, of Kahului, an accommodations supervisor and cashier at Macy's, died Thursday in Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Wailuku. She is survived by husband Paul, son Jonathan Paul, daughter Tiffany-Marie, mother Annunciation Cadiz, brother Mark Cadiz, sisters Christine Johnson and Lisa Lamille, hanai brother Andres "Andy" Oania Jr., and hanai sisters Karen Reyes and Ro-Anna Cadiz. Robert Bostwick Curtiss, 83, of Kailua-Kona, an attorney and U.S. Navy veteran, died Dec. 7 in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Billings, Mont. Augustin Delanoza, 68, of Kailua, a federal civil service employee, died Tuesday. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by daughters Lisa Buen, Stacie-Lynn Waiwaiole and Juliet; brother Crispino; sisters Catharina Zambo and Epifania Nereiko; Jameson and nine other grandchildren. Dorothy "Deedee" Leilani Elderts, 68, of Mountain View, a homemaker, died Dec. 9 in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. Ronald H.G. Young, 76, of Honolulu, a retired job training specialist, died Monday in Kaiser Moanalua Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Margaret M.; stepsons Leonard F. and Harvey M. Chung; daughters Gloria Lynn Shilling, Rosalind J. Young and Carol Y. Clark; brother Ernest H.W.; sister Frances Y.
