The Hawaii office of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is seeking interested schools to take part in its Pennies for Patients Program.

The fund-raising program will be used for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma research and patient services.

It will run for a three-week period, from Feb. 19 to March 8, next year.

The class collecting the most change in each school will receive a pizza party. Grand prizes will be awarded to the overall top 10 percent fund-raising schools.

Pop singer Mandy Moore, the national honorary chairwoman, will visit the top fund-raising school in the country to congratulate the winning students.
