NEW STAR IN HAWAII SKY
Norwegian Cruise Line kicks off Hawaii
service with a gala fund-raiser

ASSOCIATED PRESS
The new Norwegian Cruise Line vessel Norwegian Star sits moored at the Port of Miami. The 2,240-passenger, 91,000-ton ship will anchor the cruise line's Hawaii operation, beginning with a one-night "cruise-to-nowhere" gala fund-raiser. The event, which takes place Dec. 15, will benefit four Hawaii charities -- Aloha United way, Read to Me International Foundation, Bishop Museum and the Hawaii International Film Festival. Tickets for the round-trip overnight cruise to Honolulu begin at $250 for an inside stateroom and top out at $1,250 for one of four "romance" suites, complete with a private balcony and luxury bath with whirlpool tub.
