Janet set for February concert at Aloha Stadium

Janet Jackson will perform Feb. 17 at Aloha Stadium in a nationwide broadcast live on HBO.

The ""Janet Jackson: All for You: Live in Concert From Hawaii," is Jackson's second special for the cable network, after 1998's "Janet: The Velvet Rope."

According to Jackson's official tour schedule, the Hawaii performance is not part of a full-scale tour. No details are available.

The singer recently canceled a fall European tour, citing safety concerns in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, but is slated to perform a single concert in Yokohama, Japan, on Jan. 17.

Nancy Geller, HBO senior vice president of original programming, said in a statement that Jackson is "a favorite of our subscribers."

David Mallet, who directed the 1998 special, will helm the forthcoming taping. Tony Eaton is producing.

Jackson's latest Virgin album, "All for You," is No. 98 in its 29th week on The Billboard 200. The set's latest single, "Son of a Gun," featuring Missy Elliott, P. Diddy and Carly Simon opened at No. 72 on this week's Billboard Hot 100 chart.
