Jaime Amigo Ansagay, 80, of Honolulu died Oct. 25 in Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by wife Maria; children Julia Ferreira, Dora Suficiencia and Janice Alicea, and Manuel, Tony, Michael and Sa; sister Christine Recaido; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Nina C. Bishop, 71, of Greer, S.C., died Wednesday at home. She was born on Maui. She is survived by husband C. Frank, son Paul, daughter Tana Holland, sister Joyce O'Donnell and a grandson. Barbara Jane Cathcart, 53, of Haleiwa, died Tuesday in Haleiwa. She is survived by son Michael Popek, brother Doug- las K. and three grandchildren. Services: 3 p.m. Sunday at Alii Beach, Haleiwa.

Edward "Eddie" Sue Seong Chang, 88, of Honolulu, a retired seaman, died Oct. 22 at home. He was born in Kona. He is survived by son Edmund Tai On, daughter Angela Chang Mun, brothers Ernest and Walter, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services: 11:30 a.m. Monday at Borthwick Mortuary. John C. Chrape, 85, of Ho- nolulu, a retired teacher for Kapiolani Community College, died last Friday. He was also a veteran of World War II, a teacher for Honolulu Business College, director for business schools operated by Whitlow & Associates and president of the Western Business Education Association. He is survived by brother Matthew, nephews and nieces. Services: 1 p.m. tomorrow at Sts. Peter & Paul Church.

Charles Harold Correia, 62, of Honomu, Hawaii, a retired Boling House superintendent for the former Hilo Coast Proc- essing Co., died Tuesday in Hilo Medical Center. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was born in Honokaa. He is survived by wife Patricia Ann; sons Charles D., Cletus D. and Chris G.; mother Sarah C.; brother Ernest E.; and sister LauVerne Lindsey. Services: 7 p.m. Monday at Dodo Mortuary. Josephine "Jojo" Hermina Lihau Ferreira, 65, of Kaneohe, died Monday. She was born in Honolulu. Erik William Hamar, 15, of Holualoa Homesteads, Kona, a student at Kealakehe School, died Oct. 31 in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in California. Yoshiko Ito, 74, of Honolulu, a retired sales associate, died Monday in Queen's Medical Center. She was born in Okayama, Japan. She is survived by husband Robert M., sons Walter H. and John T., daughter Irene R. Sato, brothers Toru and Susumu Kodera, sister Teruko Matsubara and a grandchild. Private services.

Henry Yoshinobu Okamoto, 69, of Honolulu, a retired aquatic biologist for the state Department of Land & Natural Resources, died Oct. 29 in St. Francis-West Hospice. He was born in Waialua. He is survived by wife Nancy T., sons Jeffrey and Sidney, daughter Julie, brother Charles, sisters Lilly Shun and Rose Togashi, and two grandsons. Services: 6 p.m. Monday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Dennis F. Rodrigues, 93, of Seminole, Fla., formerly of Ho- nolulu, an accountant for civil service at Pearl Harbor, died Oct. 20 at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughter Lyndanette Jackson, sister Antoinette Boucher, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services at a later date.

Claudia Davis Stearns, 101, of Hope, Idaho, formerly of Hawaii, a founding member of Scenic Hawaii Inc., died Oct. 31 at home. She is survived by family and friends.

Bernice Tomeyo Takemoto, 81, of Honolulu, died Monday in Maluhia Long Term Care Center. She was born in Kona. She is survived by husband Yutaka, son Kenneth T., daughters Karen M. Taira and Kathleen Y. Green, sister Alice M. Webb and two grandchildren. Private services.

Yayo Tanioka, 80, of Ho- nolulu, a retired kitchen helper for Zippy's Restaurants, died Oct. 20 in Queen's Medical Center. She was born in Kekaha, Kauai. She is survived by sons Clifton, Stephen, Bertram, Dennis, Roy K. Jr. and Gary; daughter Harriet Colville; sisters Moyo Raponot and Sachi Otoman; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mitsuno "Aunty Mit-Chan" Uemura, 74, of Kalaoa, Kona, a child-care giver, died Wednesday at Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Kealakekua, Kona.
