Cendant Corp. today announced changes at Cheap Tickets, following its acquisition yesterday of the Honolulu-based national discount travel business.

Cheap Tickets' top officer, Sam E. Galeotos, was named chief executive officer of Cendant's travel services and supplier group and will move to Cendant's travel headquarters in Parsippany, N.J. He joined Cheap Tickets in October 1999 as president and chief operating officer and was named CEO in February. He will report to Samuel L. Katz, chairman and CEO of Cendant's travel distribution division. That puts Galeotos in charge of Cendant's travel agency business, Wizcom. Galeotos also will be chairman of Travel Portal Inc., the Cendant affiliate that handles its Internet travel business.

The Web site www.cheaptickets.com has been signed over to Travel Portal but will keep operating under its own name.

Cheap Tickets will continue serving its customers under its own name through its call centers in Honolulu, Colorado, Florida and California, but the travel services will be provided by Cendant.

Cheap Tickets' stock was removed today from the Nasdaq.
