Golf on the Big Isle

An unlimited kama'aina golf package awaits at The Shores at Waikoloa on the Big Island. The package includes unlimited golf at either of the Troon-managed Beach or Kings' courses.

Unlimited golf is based upon playing the same course on the same day on a standby basis. Package rates begin at $280 per night, double occupancy, for a one-bedroom superior suite, and include two rounds of golf per room.

Foursomes can spread out in the comfort of a two-bedroom superior suite for just $420 per night, quad occupancy, which includes four rounds of golf per room. Additional rounds of golf are available for $65 per round. Package rates are available through Dec. 22. Free flight on Island Air

Island Air has begun daily service from Kahului to the Big Island via Lanai and Molokai. To launch its new schedule, Island Air is offering a free one-way return trip for passengers who pay to travel one-way between Maui and the Big Island.

Three flights a day will go from Kahului to Kona, with two via Lanai and one via Molokai; and two flights a day from Kahului to Hilo via Molokai aboard 37-seat DeHavilland DASH-8-100 aircraft. Two daily flights from Kona to Kahului are via Lanai. Two daily flights from Hilo to Kahului are via Molokai.

Those traveling on Island Air between Kahului and Kona, Kahului and Hilo or Kona and Kapalua-West Maui on a valid Island Air or Aloha Airlines coupon will receive a free return trip. The offer is good only on Island Air through Dec. 15. Some restrictions apply.

In addition to the Kahului-Big Island flights via Lanai and Molokai, Island Air will offer one flight a day from Kona to Kapalua-West Maui Airport. The airline also operates three flights a day from Honolulu to Kapalua; and four flights a day from Kapalua to Honolulu. Island Air also has daily service between Honolulu and Lanai, and Honolulu and Molokai.
