Servco Pacific Inc. said yesterday it plans sell its office equipment business, Servco Integrated Technology.

The company would not give details of a pending sale but said there is a potential buyer for SIOT.

"(Servco is) in the process of selling off that division, they are undergoing due diligence," said Servco spokeswoman, Carolyn Tanaka.

Servco Integrated Technology employs about 70 people and has offices on Oahu, The Big Island and Maui. Those affected will be offered other positions within Servco or could be hired by a new owner, Tanaka said.

"The decision to sell was part of an ongoing effort to re-organize, refocus and streamline our various businesses," said Servco President, Mark Fukunaga.

Servco's other business include providing products and services that include automobiles, electronics, and appliances, insurance and edu- cational materials throughout Hawaii, Guam, Saipan and the Marshall Islands.
