Suichi Agena, 89, of Honolulu, retired owner of Agena Janitorial Services, died Sept. 19. He was born in Kapaa, Kauai. He is survived by wife Jane S., sons Michael H. and Sidney S., daughters Eileen S. Kobayashi and Grace M. Efurd, brothers Shiro and Noboru, sisters Yoshiko Miyake and Sue Leong, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Private services.

John Dolak, 77, of Honolulu, retired president of Tally's Sales & Service, died Monday. He was born in Passaic, N.J. He is survived by sons Jack and Jerry, daughter Jill Croft, brother Albert, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services: 2 p.m. Thursday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. No flowers. Donations suggested to St. Francis Hospice.

Kathryne Laura Fairbanks, 79, of Kailua-Kona, a retired sales representative for Macy's Department Store, died Sept. 13 in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Seattle. She is survived by son Clifford Niedzielski, daughters Christine Fairbanks Kealoha and Kathryne Marie Pederson, sister Marge Miller, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services: 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Chris and Charlie Kealoha family residence, 76-6173 Lehua Rd., Alii Kai subdivision, Kailua-Kona. Casual attire. Call 331-1345 for more information.

Edmund Francis Hogan, 85, formerly of Myrtle Beach, S.C., died Thursday in Kailua. He was born in Troy, N.Y. He is survived by daughters Barbara Pearson, Martha Crawford and Joan Roman; sister Edna Sweeney; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services at a later date.

Richard Satoru Kaneshige, 70, of Honolulu, a retired airline mechanic for Japan Airlines, died Aug. 8. He was born in North Hilo. He is survived by wife Fumie, daughter Iris and two grandchildren. Private services.

Everett Seiya Kawakami, 42, of Pearl City, a customer service representative for Sprint U.S.A., died Sunday. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by father Ronald, sister Ronette, grandmother Betty Hagihara, numerous nieces and a nephew. Services: noon Tuesday at Diamond Head Mortuary. Inurnment: 12:45 p.m. at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Casual attire.

Melvin H. "Junior" Kua, 70, of Kekaha, Kauai, a retired welder for Kekaha Sugar Co., died Thursday in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born in Kekaha. He is survived by wife Winona; sons Melvin "Bones" and Kenway; daughters Melva "Uilani" Wright, Luana "Kuini" and Winona "Pua" Nihipali; sisters Edwina "Pua" Takahashi, Eileen "Ulu" Edwards and Charlene "Aloha" Fanene; and 12 grandchildren. Services: 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kekaha Ward. Call after 2 p.m. Burial: Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery. Casual attire.

Barbara Bennett Morrison, 84, of Walnut Creek, Calif., a former social worker for the state of Hawaii, died Tuesday. She was born in Marin County, Calif. She is survived by brother Bryant Bennett; daughters Melanie Chambers, Margaret and Maile Busky; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held next summer on Maui. Donations suggested to the Vaughn and Barbara Morrison Memorial Fund at St. John's Episcopal Church, Kula, HI 96790.

Georgia Adelaide Darling Nilan, 98, of Keauhou, Kona, a retired free-lance artist, died Wednesday in Keauhou Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. She was born in Binghamton, N.Y. She is survived by sons Robert E. and James G., daughters Jean Sloan and Norma, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. No services.

Francis T. Ogoso, 81, of Honolulu, died Monday. He was born in Waipahu. He is survived by wife Dorothy; sons Elton, Glenn and Brian; daughters Karen Yamasaki and Susan Yamashita; brother George; sisters Irene Ikehara and Eleanor Takahashi; and six grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Wednesday at Nuuanu Mortuary. Casual attire. No flowers.

Daniel K.C. Won, 71, of Waianae, a retired schoolteacher for Nanaikapono Elementary School, died Monday in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Sally; sons Randal, Brian and Gary; daughters Dannette and Vera Ann, and Joanne Vestal; brothers Kenneth, Stanley, Herman and Alfred; sisters Lucille Ho and Eunice; and five grandchildren. Taoist services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire. No flowers.

Tsuruko Yogi, 88, of Kailua died Sept. 20. She was born in Waianae. She is survived by sons Henry S. and Benjamin T., daughter Betty S. Kunishige, brother Shinichi Nakamine, four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Private services.
