Kahuku beats Mililani
to remain undefeated

Loga Fonoimoana scored four touchdowns as the Kahuku Red Raiders (3-0) fought off the Mililani Trojans (1-2) 34-19 Saturday to remain undefeated.

Kahuku, the defending state champion, extended its winning streak to 13 games with the win.

Fonoimoana scored on touchdown passes of 21, 64 and 17 yards, all from Inoke Funaki, and a 70-yard punt return.

Kahuku trailed for the first time this season when Mililani's Billy Barbour scored on a 29-yard pass from Mana Au to give the Trojans an 11-7 lead in the third quarter. Fonoimoana scored three touchdowns later in the quarter to give Kahuku control of the game.

Mililani generated 346 yards in offense, the most surrendered by Kahuku this season. Au completed 17 of 36 passes for 252 yards, but threw two interceptions.
