The ‘As’ take it this week

The beginning of the alphabet was hot this week, with both Aquasearch and Alexander & Baldwin leading the pack in the Bloomberg Honolulu Star-Bulletin index.

The two companies eked out gains in a turbulent week marked by a see-sawing market.

SchulerHomes posted the biggest loss by far, at more than 12 percent. Next in line was Cyanotech Corp., which this week reported skyrocketing losses for the second quarter. It lost about 4 percent.
