This preview of films opening this weekend runs Tuesdays in the Star-Bulletin:

"Planet of the Apes" -- The $100 million "revisioning" of the sci-fi classic that starred Charlton Heston more than 30 years ago. Directed by Tim Burton, this much-anticipated movie promises to be a different take on the story of a human astronaut (Mark Wahlberg) who crashlands on a planet ruled and inhabited by intelligent simians. The leads are played by Helena Bonham Carter, Tim Roth and Michael Clarke Duncan, with stellar makeup by Rick Baker (PG-13).
